Here's what OurPhysique.com collects when you stop by, why, and what you can do about it. We've kept it in plain language instead of the usual wall of legalese, since a policy nobody can actually read doesn't protect anyone.

The Information We Collect

Directly, we collect almost nothing. A bit more gets picked up automatically through the usual web plumbing. Here's the honest breakdown of both.

Information you give us directly

There's really only one moment you actively hand anything over, and that's the contact form. Message us through it and we get whatever you typed, your name, your email, the message itself. We read it, we reply, and that's where it ends. No mailing list waiting to grab your address, because there's no mailing list at all.

Information collected automatically

Visit any website and it picks up a bit of technical information about your visit, ours included. That's just how the modern web functions, mostly through your browser and through the third-party services we'll get to shortly. Roughly, it amounts to your general location (country or region, not your doorstep), what device and browser you're on, which pages you looked at, where you came from, and how long you hung around.

All of that lands as aggregate, statistical stuff. It tells us which articles are pulling their weight, which calculators get used, where the rough edges are. Pinning a name to you isn't the goal and isn't something we're attempting.

What the calculators do with your numbers

Those five calculators, BMI, body fat, TDEE, macros, ideal weight, run entirely inside your own browser. Type in your details, your device does the math, you get your result. Nothing has to come to us, and we're not quietly stitching your entries into a profile. Refresh or close the tab and the numbers you typed are simply gone. They're there to hand you a fast answer, not to collect your measurements.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a little text file a website tucks onto your device, usually to remember something between visits or to make features like analytics and ads work. Ours show up in a few unremarkable places:

• Keeping the site working. Some cookies just help pages load and behave.
• Analytics. A few support the aggregate traffic picture described above.

So yes, ads run here. No, we don't pass advertisers your personal details. That whole relationship runs on cookies and aggregate signals, not on us telling anyone who you are.

Analytics

Analytics tools show us how the site's doing as a whole, the popular pages, how people found us, what's landing and what's flopping. They rely on cookies and similar identifiers and may gather the sort of automatic technical information mentioned earlier. Again, the point is a better site, not a file on you. Prefer not to be counted at all? Browser cookie controls and the analytics providers' own opt-out add-ons let you bow out.

How We Use Information

Every single thing we actually use information for, the whole list:

• Replying to messages you send through the contact form.
• Getting an aggregate sense of how the site's used, so it can get better.
• Showing the advertising that pays for it.
• Keeping things secure, working, and free of technical gremlins.

That's it, the complete set. No marketing profiles getting built in the background, no email campaigns going out.

What We Don't Do

Some things are worth stating outright, if only because so many sites quietly do the opposite:

• Your personal information doesn't get sold, rented, or traded. Not to anyone.
• No account, no login, no email signup gate stands between you and the articles or calculators.
• The measurements you punch into the calculators aren't stored.
• No marketing emails, no newsletters land in your inbox from us.

Sharing of Information

Selling your data isn't on the table, and sharing happens only in a couple of narrow, ordinary ways:

• Service providers. The third-party services that actually run the site, hosting, analytics, advertising partners like Google, handle certain information as already described, each under its own privacy policy.
• Legal requirements. If a valid legal process ever compelled us to disclose information, we'd follow the law. Given how little we hold, that's mostly hypothetical.

Past those two, your information stays put.

Our articles link out constantly, to research databases, medical institutions, government health agencies, reference sources, because showing our sources is half the point of the site. The moment you click through, though, you're under that site's privacy policy, not ours. How other sites treat your data isn't something we control or answer for, so when it matters, it's worth a quick look at theirs.

Data Security

We take the reasonable, standard precautions to keep the site and whatever information it touches secure. Even so, no way of moving or storing data across the internet is ever fully airtight, and promising perfect security would be dishonest. One thing working in your favor: there's very little personal data here to begin with, which is its own kind of protection.

Children's Privacy

This site is built for adults. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly gather personal information from anyone under the age their region's law sets for consenting to data processing, and under 13 in any case. Think a child has submitted personal information through the site? Tell us and we'll delete it.

Your Rights and Choices

Where you live shapes what rights you have over your data, maybe the right to ask what we've got, to request a copy, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Since we collect so little, handling those is usually quick. To start one, the contact form is the way, and we'll get back to you.

There are also everyday choices that skip us entirely:

• Manage or block cookies in your browser settings.
• Switch off personalized ads through Google's Ads Settings or the aboutads.info opt-out.
• Just don't submit anything via the contact form.

International Visitors

OurPhysique is reachable from anywhere, and the services behind it, hosting, analytics, advertising, may process information in countries other than yours. Using the site means you understand your information might be handled that way, in line with this policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy may change as the site grows or as the services it leans on change. When that happens, the "Last updated" date up top moves, and anything significant may get a note on the site too. Keep using OurPhysique after an update and you're accepting the revised version, so a glance back here now and then isn't a bad habit.
